Shift Timings: Monday- Friday (Full- time)
- Morning Shift: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced Electric Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join our warehouse operation in Brantford. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving products, pallets, packaging materials, and other goods throughout the facility while supporting receiving, production, storage, and shipping operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate an electric counterbalance forklift to move and transport pallets and materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Move products between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
- Put away and retrieve pallets from designated storage locations.
- Supply production and packing areas with required materials and products.
- Stage finished pallets for shipping and delivery.
- Assist with pallet breakdown, product movement, and general warehouse activities as required.
- Perform daily/pre-shift forklift inspections and report any equipment issues.
- Follow proper product handling, storage, and stock rotation procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company, workplace health and safety, and food safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, shipping, and receiving teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating an electric counterbalance forklift.
- Valid and current forklift certification.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, production, or food-related environment is an asset.
- Experience loading/unloading trucks and moving palletized products.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform physical warehouse duties as required.
