General Labor (Heavy Lifting)

Location: Belleville, ON
Pay Rate: $17.60/hr
Shift: 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Working Days: Monday - Saturday

Job Overview

We are currently hiring reliable and hardworking General Labourers for a meat processing facility in Belleville. The successful candidates must be comfortable working with meat products, including pork, in a cold and fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle meat on a stuffing line and assist with processing stuffed meat.
• Perform line assembly and production tasks.
• Label, box, and weigh products accurately.
• Inspect products for quality and correct weight.
• Work in different positions along the production line as required.
• Maintain the required production line speed according to documented standards.
• Follow all food safety, workplace health, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Requirements

• Must be comfortable working with meat products, mainly pork.
• Must be comfortable working in a cold environment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Safety shoes and a mask are mandatory.
• Must meet workplace vaccination requirements.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work Monday to Saturday and the scheduled morning shift.
