LeadOn Staffing is recruiting two Interior & Exterior Aircraft Groomers for a professional aircraft care service specializing in high-quality interior and exterior cleaning, paint correction, and protective coatings.
This is an opportunity for detail-oriented candidates who take pride in their work and understand the importance of maintaining a clean, polished aircraft. You’ll help care for aircraft interiors and exterior surfaces while working in an active aircraft maintenance hangar.

About the Role
As an Interior & Exterior Aircraft Groomer, you will perform aircraft cleaning and grooming tasks to help maintain a clean, presentable finish. Work includes both exterior aircraft surfaces and detailed interior areas such as the cockpit, cabin, galleys, lavatories, floors, carpets, seats, and overhead bins.
The role requires care, attention to detail, physical capability, and the ability to work safely in an active aircraft maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities
Exterior Aircraft Grooming
Wipe down and wash aircraft exterior surfaces.
Clean wings, fuselage, empennage, and landing gear.
Work carefully around aircraft surfaces and components while completing assigned cleaning tasks.
Maintain attention to detail to support a consistent, high-quality finish.
Interior Aircraft Grooming
Complete full and focused interior grooming tasks.
Clean cockpit and cabin areas, galleys, and lavatories.
Clean floors, carpets, seat tracks, seats, sidewalls, ventilation areas, and overhead bins.
Pay close attention to detail when cleaning high-touch, narrow, or hard-to-reach areas.
Complete assigned tasks carefully and efficiently.
Teamwork & Work Practices
Work collaboratively with team members and follow assigned instructions.
Maintain a professional and quality-focused approach throughout each shift.
Follow applicable site, aircraft, and security procedures.
Communicate with the team regarding assigned work and any issues that may affect completion.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Valid Ontario Class G/G2 driver’s licence.
Own reliable car
English proficiency sufficient to understand instructions and communicate in the workplace.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Ability to work in an active aircraft maintenance hangar, where conditions may include noise, heat, and cold.
Must meet applicable GTAA / Transport Canada security screening requirements and be eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
The client requires candidates to hold valid Canadian work authorization, such as a valid permanent resident status, or Canadian citizenship, to complete the required clearance process.
Preferred Qualifications
These are assets, but not stated as mandatory:
Previous aircraft grooming, aircraft cleaning, or automotive detailing experience.
Previous supervisory or team-lead experience.
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
Leadership skills and the ability to support team coordination.
Schedule & Work Environment
Work hours: Evening and overnight shifts, typically 18:00-23:59 and/or 23:59-05:00.
Days: Evenings and weekends; shifts assigned by supervisor
Work setting: Active aircraft maintenance hangar.
Conditions: The work environment may include noise and changing temperatures, including heat and cold.
Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete hands-on cleaning tasks.
Candidates should be comfortable working during non-standard hours and in an environment where aircraft maintenance activities may be taking place.
Important Security Clearance Requirement
Selected candidates must obtain a RAIC within 30 days of employment. Failure to obtain the required RAIC within this period will result in termination of employment, as advised by the client.
Security clearance is subject to the applicable screening process and approval. Meeting the stated eligibility requirements does not guarantee clearance.
Availability Requirement
Candidates who intend to travel for 14 or more consecutive days during the next 12 months should not apply, as the client has identified this as incompatible with the role’s attendance requirements.
