Sanitation Associate

Location: Mississauga, ON Main Intersection: Hurontario St & Britannia Rd W Pay: $18.80/hour Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–1:00 AM Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are hiring Sanitation Associates to clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, utensils, and work areas in a food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, and surfaces in processing and packaging areas.
• Perform deep cleaning according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery for thorough cleaning.
• Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals.
• Follow food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards, including GMPs and HACCP.
• Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures.
• Operate the wastewater treatment plant.

Requirements

• Previous sanitation, cleaning, or food production experience is preferred.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals.
• Able to work in a fast-paced food production environment.
• Must follow food safety, sanitation, and PPE requirements.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures
